Midi plc is composed of many of the original partners that constituted the consortium formed in 1992 in response to a request for proposals issued by government for the development of Manoel Island and Tigné Point. Midi plc comprises a representative cross-section of leading local business enterprises including Bank of Valletta a major local bank, Middlesea the largest insurance group, contracting service providers, property developers, hospitality operators and a number of leading global brand representatives in a variety of fields.
